“Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”-1 Peter‬ ‭5:7

We all have emotions. Whether it’s good or bad, emotions never stop in our lives. Anxiety is something that is common in today's world. It’s something I deal with all the time. I try not to tell people about the bad anxiety for I don’t want people to worry about me or to kill the mood. I know that’s not the right thing to do but hey, I am just being honest. The real question is "Why though?" Why do we hide it? I know I am not the only one. We hide it for we are scared. We hide for we have no faith basically. When we get anxiety, our human mindset is telling us there is no way we are going to make it through. As we know, anxiety can be a connection to a dangerous path in our lives.

Anxiety is connected to many things. Two words pop out when I read about anxiety: uncertainty and pulling. Furthermore, I believe uncertainly can do 3 things to our lives. First, when we’re uncertain about something that’s currently going on in our lives. Second, when we’re uncertain about events that happened in our past and why they keep bothering us. Finally, when we’re uncertain about the future. I pray not all 3 happens at once but I know we will feel some emotions with just one uncertainty. Going back to pulling, it can cause a huge impact in our lives. When you are in a season of anxiety, you pull away from almost everything. You’re pulling away from family, friends, and etc. It is not the right thing to do when anxiety creeps in. Yes, it’s challenging to hold on to the positive and encouraging resources you have all around you when havoc is swarming your consciousness.

We need to remember, our anxiety is our alarm to our soul when we are on E(empty) of our faith. That’s when we need to ask/pray to God for strength to get through this season. Pray to God to help me through this anxiety and to let go what is making us so anxious. Lord help me to stay connected not pull apart. Lord help me to have the faith in you through the things in my life that are uncertain Once we do pray, once we do spend time with our Father, peace will come. Jesus is the prince of peace. Please bring that upon your mind and rest in your soul.

Thankfully, God doesn’t obey to our anxiety. He is God, creator of us and all things. He has the ultimate authority as well as the track record to prove He has never lost a battle including how big our anxiety may be to us. Matthew 6:27: "And which of you by being anxious can add a single cubit to his life's span? In other words, what does being anxious do that ultimately helps you? God is prepared and ready to give you the strength, courage, and inner peace to break the chains of anxiety. You’re an overcomer and blessings will come to you for breaking the chains.
